I love to cook, I love to eat and my belly is happy! I enjoy making simply prepared meals and snacks using healthy whole foods. The ingredients that I use are in as close to their natural form as possible. My preference is to use what’s local and in season with lots of fresh herbs. I firmly believe that what we eat has a strong and direct impact on how we feel and on our overall wellness. For this reason, I use ingredients that will benefit my body and work to keep me healthy and feeling my best. After suffering through many years of gastrointestinal issues; including a bacterial overgrowth, candida and leaky gut I discovered that the foods that I was eating were really at the root of my issues. I discovered that I have sensitivities to diary, gluten and soy. All the foods that I eat now are gluten-free, dairy-free and soy-free. 
Before I changed my diet, in addition to the gastrointestinal issues I was experiencing, I also suffered from migraines, allergies, joint pain in my knees and shoulder and often had the “mid-afternoon slump”. After eliminating the foods from my diet that weren’t agreeing with my digestive tract, over time those ailments began to disappear too. I now feel healthier and more energized than I ever have!
