My Favorite Post Workout Recovery Blueberry Breakfast Smoothie

This smoothie is my favorite breakfast to enjoy after my morning workout. Full of protein, healthy fats & antioxidants, it’s a delicious way to help my body recover from a challenging workout. It’s so thick and rich that I eat it with s spoon! Optional serving suggestion; I like to top mine with a spoonful of chia seeds & ground flax to further enhance the nutrients.

Ingredients

2/3 cup unsweetened almond milk
1/2” slice avocado
1 date, pitted
1/4 tsp pure vanilla extract
4Tbs egg white protein
2Tbs hemp protein
1/2-3/4 cup frozen blueberries
Water as needed to reach desired consistency

Directions

Place all ingredients in a high speed blender & boomed until smooth, stopping periodically to scrape down sides of blender. Add water as needed to reach desired consistency.
