No Bake Crunchy Bars

Prep Notes

These bars make a nice little snack or sweet treat! 


1 cup all natural almond butter or all natural peanut butter (I use Whole Foods 365 Brand)

1/3 cup pure maple syrup

1/3 cup honey

1 cup crispy brown rice cereal (I use Erewhon Crispy Brown Rice Gluten Free Cereal)

½ cup sliced almonds

½ cup raw sesame seeds

½ cup ground flax (I use Bob’s Red Mill)

¼ cup raw cacao nibs 


In a food processor mix almond or peanut butter, maple syrup and honey until smooth. Add brown rice cereal and sliced almonds and pulse until combined. Add sesame seeds and ground flax, and mix until combined well. Add cacao nibs and pulse until all ingredients are combined well.

Press mixture evenly into an 11”x7”x2” glass baking dish or an 8”x8” glass baking dish. Refrigerate at least an hour. Cut into bars and wrap individually in foil for a quick snack on the go! Makes 24 bars.
